Galvanic current has two important functions during a facial.  One is – Disincrustation - to soften grease and sebum deposits, making them easier to remove.  The second is – Iontophoresis – to introduce water soluable treatment products into the skin.¹

This machine features dual handle rollers however, the use of one can also be used.
